Baby Ella – Winnipeg Newborn Photography

Last week I had the honour of taking pictures of this adorable little one! Meet Ella! She was tiny as tiny can be, and only 1 week old :) It is wonderful to work with parents like Anita and Ryan, who I aspire to be like one day when I start my own family! You guys were super easy and fun to work with, thankyou so much!

Now for some images, enjoy!

Sunday Family Outing

One of my favourite things to do on a lazy Sunday is hop in the car with Gavin and Cookie, and of course my camera, and go for a drive. Whether scouting for possible photo session locations or just randomly driving, it’s nice to grab some lunch, listen to tunes, and just drive. So yesterday, we decided to head to Lower For Garry (and stop at Skinner’s for lunch..mmmmm) and take Cookie for a little walk while we snapped a few shots. The sun was crazy bright, the skies were crazy blue, and there was nobody around!

Here are a few from our excursion:

I like texture!

Me with a red nose and squinty eyes!

Gavin took these next 3 shots

This one makes me feel dizzy!

Just a little something to look at on Monday :)

My Killer zebra shoes

Sorry guys, I promise my blog posts will get more exciting soon! Many exciting sessions to come! Until then, you must suffer through me blogging about my dog and inanimate objects.

During a shopping trip to Fargo this past summer, I picked up a pair of high, HIGH heels. They are zebra print, with bright yellow shiny accents. I hadn’t worn them yet…until last night. I literally built my outfit around them! So I thought I would share, since I am sitting here editing and eating homemade cookies anyways :) I know some of you gals will really appreciate the funky and ridiculous awesomeness of these shoes. They were not made for comfort. Some will think they are hideous, which is totally cool…..I think they are FABULOUS.

You know that the weather is changing when all the funky heels start coming out! We saw LOTS last night!

Now for my shoes:

My pal Crystal took this shot as I did some acrobatics on the floor!

And I must show you Crystal’s funky ankle-boot heel thingies! Loves it!

Okay I should get back to work now!!!

The Cookie Chronicles – The Play Date

My fellow photographer friend Tracey Kiansky and I decided our dogs should have a play date. They are both about the same size, so why not? It was a success, and although I think Cookie may have been a tad “forward” for poor Boxer the chihuahua, they had fun and we shall do it again sometime!

Some pics from the date!

Cookie

Boxer

I’m not sure about this……but I think I like you :)

Cookie even let Boxer play with her toys!

Tracey snapped these next two! How fun!

Dogs are too fun! And Cookie is STILL tired today :) Thanks Tracey!

Pretty Hoar frost

Just a few shots of stuff in my backyard. I always seem to be busy on the days with pretty frost….I saw it this morning and ran out super quick so that I wouldn’t forget!

P.S. It’s Wednesday! That means Friday is just around the corner :)
