And the fun continues! I recently advertised that I am offering free day-after shoots until the end of January in order to build my portfolio over the winter. I am still pretty new to the wedding biz so I figured this would be a great way to get some fantastic images in a low-stress environment, and would give couples a chance to get some more shots in their wedding garb. I must say the response has been wonderful! Cristina and Sambath were so great, they let me take control and get some wonderfully sexy shots, exactly what I was going for! The awesome couple’s wedding was recently featured in Weddings in Winnipeg (see the article here), you should check it out! Their wedding day was photographed by Kenzie Prudhomme, there are some beautiful photos of hers in the article, and please click on the link to her website and check out more of her stuff! And since I’m talking up Kenzie (cause she rocks) I must also mention that she is currently donating one can of food to Winnipeg Harvest for each comment on her blog (see Cans for Comments) so get over there and comment! It’s for a good cause :) Back to our beautiful couple, Cristina is a very talented young lady, I must say, as I drool over her amazing hand-made wedding invitations she posts on Facebook! As soon as she gets a website up and running I will add a link to it :) I must also give kudos to Dea Code of iDea Makeup Application once again for the super smoldering makeup that made Cristina’s eyes so mesmerizing. Dea you are also awesome, and I can’t wait to work with you again next weekend!
We did most of our shoot indoors given the chilly weather, most of them were taken at the Red River College campus on Princess Street, and a few at Via Rail. Here are my faves!
